Thulir Therapy

Clinical Services & Care Modules

We provide child-first, evidence-based developmental programs tailored to support communication, sensory, and educational milestones.

🌿

1. Occupational Therapy (OT)

Our core occupational therapy pathway is designed to help children construct stable daily routines, regulate sensory processing challenges, and adapt home environments to limit overstimulation stressors.

  • Comprehensive initial developmental assessments.
  • Personalized therapy plans targeting sensory-integration.
  • Parent-guided home adaptation guides and coordination.

Key Areas of Focus:

We target fine and gross motor planning, self-care routines, bilateral coordination, and sensory diet adjustments to maintain child regulation during transitions.

2. Speech & Language Therapy

Focuses on building communication confidence, verbal structuring, sound blending, and supporting alternative augmentative communications (AAC) for non-verbal children.

  • Oral-Motor Exercises: Targeted jaw, lip, and tongue-tip movements.
  • Articulation: Sound production, syllable blending, and speech-sound drills.
  • Functional Language: Naming objects, categories, negations, and structures.
  • PECS Integration: Picture Exchange Communication Systems and visual helper boards.

Communication Strategy:

Whether verbal or non-verbal, we design visual schedules and communication boards so the child has a consistent, low-frustration tool to express basic needs.

🏫

3. Special Education

Providing academic structures customized to each child's learning speed, focusing on core English, mathematics, and cognitive comprehension.

  • Color, pattern, and object matching exercises.
  • Alphabet identification, consonant sounds, and phonics foundation.
  • Sight-word lists, CVC pattern reading, and CCVC/CVCC blends.
  • Grammar basics: usage of "This / That", progressing to sentence formulation.

Educational Framework:

Structured learning rooms with clear visual layouts. Tasks are broken down into small, step-by-step goals to prevent academic frustration.

🤸

4. Sensory & Cognitive Programmes

Incorporating movement therapies, gross motor structures, and texture exploration into a graded active learning framework.

  • Trampoline coordination and motor control exercises.
  • Gym-ball and peanut-ball core balance activities.
  • Platform and seated swings for vestibular regulation.
  • Texture mats, tandem rope walking, and hoop jumping pathways.

Graded Progressions:

Every activity is introduced incrementally. The therapist monitors the child's arousal thresholds, pausing to co-regulate when needed.

5. Skill Development Centre

Designed specifically for older children and adolescents, this module targets functional independence and pre-vocational preparation.

  • Functional daily living skills (cooking prep, sorting, handling currency).
  • Pre-vocational motor tasks and focus building routines.
  • Social scripting and collaborative workplace scenarios.

Pre-Vocational Prep:

Launched in June 2026, this program provides active workshops where older youth construct functional objects and manage simulated storefront tasks.

6. School Integration Support

A critical bridge that facilitates transition from specialized clinics into mainstream academic schools.

  • Teacher and special needs assistant (SEN) guidance and workshops.
  • Individualized Education Plan (IEP) school translation support.
  • Direct classroom shadow teacher coordination services.
  • Over 36 children successfully integrated into regular schools to date.

Collaboration:

We coordinate directly with local school boards to establish sensory safe-zones inside classrooms and provide customized task checklists for class teachers.
